Revolve and helical revolve

Revolve a face

Choose Revolve face (R) and select a closed planar profile and an axis. Set the angle in the tool’s dimension control and choose the handedness. Inspect the preview, then confirm.

The profile must be valid for the selected operation. If a revolve fails, check the profile and axis selection before trying a simpler shape.

For a helix-shaped sweep, select Helical revolve under Operation. Set the angle and Pitch, the distance advanced per turn. Choose the direction and profile orientation, then confirm when the preview is valid.
