Measure line

Choose Measure line (I). Click the first location, then click the second to define a measured segment. Snap cues help anchor the measurement to sketch points, intersections, or solid edges. The measurement is displayed in the current length unit.

The measurement line is a reference: it does not add a solid feature or change the shape. Use it to compare positions and distances while modeling. If you need to keep a point or dimension relationship in a sketch, use Sketch constraints instead.

Press Escape to cancel an unfinished measurement. If you cannot select the intended geometry, switch to Select (1) and choose the appropriate selection filter, then return to Measure line.
