Snapping and curves
Snapping helps place sketch geometry against existing geometry or at regular intervals. A cue appears near the pointer when a snap target is available.
Snapping
Section titled “Snapping”Snap cues indicate when geometry can align to an existing point, edge, or other reference. To use regular intervals, enable Snap to grid in Settings and set the grid spacing. See Place points while sketching for a short placement guide.
Arcs and circles
Section titled “Arcs and circles”Choose Draw arc or circle from the tool rail to add circular geometry. Arcs and circles can form part of a boundary or an opening in a face. See Draw arcs and circles for the steps.
Other curves
Section titled “Other curves”The Draw curve tool offers parabolas, ellipses, hyperbolas, Bézier curves, and B-splines. The options for the active curve type appear with the tool. See Draw curves for each construction sequence and its settings.
Use Create face when your curves and lines form a supported boundary. Learn to create faces.
