Transform and edit
Choose Select (1) to inspect geometry. Click an object or drag a selection rectangle to select several objects. Use the model tree when a body or feature is hard to reach in the viewport.
Choose Transform (M) to move selected geometry. Use the operation choices in its panel:
- Move — drag the gizmo or enter X, Y, and Z translation values. Choose By points for point-based placement. Move source replaces the selection position; Keep source + copy makes a transformed copy.
- Rotate — drag the gizmo or enter X, Y, and Z angles in degrees. Rotate about the selection center or choose a custom origin.
- Scale — enter a uniform scale percentage.
- Mirror — choose an X, Y, or Z plane normal and its offset.
Inspect the live result before continuing. To edit or delete geometry, first choose Select (1); press Delete or Backspace to remove the current selection. Press Escape to cancel an unfinished action.
Use Undo (Ctrl/Cmd + Z) and Redo (Ctrl/Cmd + Shift + Z, or Ctrl/Cmd + Y) to step through model changes. The model tree exposes supported feature dimensions and lets you rename bodies and operations.
For a new body from a face, see Extrude.
